Motorsport Insurance Raises Value Benchmark

Motorsport Insurance today launched some major solutions for insurance in the motor sport industry.

Their new range of Personal Accident Cover recently went on sale and already both new and existing clients have commented on the outstanding 'value for money' on offer from the new policies.

General Manager, Andy Ticehurst commented, "Competitors, crews and officials wanted more cover than what's been on offer prior. We went to work with our key underwriter for personal accident cover, 'Accident and Health International Underwriting,' and came up with the base cover of $1000 per week.

Superior cover has been increased to $1500 per week and our Maxi cover (for the higher wage earners) topping an amazing $2100 per week with $120,000 death benefit. All of these are from as little as $99 per year."

One key element requested by existing clientele was the expansion of the weekly wage component, and Motorsport Insurance has delivered. Photographers, Journalists and junior competitors (under 16 years of age) have not been overlooked by the new policies, with Motorsport Insurance providing cover for everyone.

"Ambulance cover is one of the most important parts of any accident. This cover has always been in our policies and this year will be no different," stated Ticehurst.

There is a proud history from Motorsport Insurance of supporting the industry by providing motor sport insurance solutions within the sport. Cover types include personal accident insurance for competitors, Public Liability for venues and events plus Fire and Theft of equipment and vehicles whilst in transit.

"Some licences for competition come with personal accident cover attached and some do not give you the option to simply opt out. Most competitors purchase our products by choice, even if they have cover included in their licence, as sometimes the cover just isn't that great," continued Ticehurst.
